Dr. Smith, born and raised in San Francisco, California, embarked on a remarkable faith journey. At the age of five, he became a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, later joining Little Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in 1974 under the leadership of his late father-in-law, Reverend John Phillips. Dr. Smith served as a deacon and Sunday school superintendent for nineteen years before receiving his certificate of ordination as a minister in 2001, leading Little Bethany Church. His pursuit of theological knowledge led him to Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College, earning degrees of Associate of Biblical Studies, Bachelor of Theology, and Master of Theology/Christian Counseling. Currently serving as Pastor of Little Bethany Church and a teacher at Pneuma Theological Seminary and Bible College’s Emeryville Extension, Dr. Smith’s commitment to ministry and education is evident in achieving his Doctor of Religious Education degree.
With over 35 years of professional experience, Dr. Magloire has been the associate chief of medicine at the Oakland Campus of the Northern California Health Care System’s Department of Veterans Affairs since 1995, while also maintaining a private practice throughout his career. Engaging in missionary work since 2014, he dedicates his services to private, religious, and humanitarian organizations, supporting orphanages in Haiti, Tanzania, Brazil, Guyana, Mexico, South Africa, and Nicaragua. Dr. Magloire’s journey began in Haiti, where he earned an MD from the University of Mexico, Villahermosa, Tabasco, in 1979, and pursued fellowships and residencies in neurosurgery and internal medicine in the United States. An accomplished expert in the field, he is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of industry organizations such as the American Diabetes Association and the Endocrine Society. Dr. Magloire is also recognized for his contributions, receiving the Jan Hart-Schuyers Award in 2002. Beyond medicine, he enjoys spare time pursuits such as fine art painting, music, and poetry.
Dr. April McMahon is an accomplished college professor known for her diverse educational background and extensive professional experiences. Her passion for teaching and commitment to excellence make her a dynamic and inspiring educator. Starting at Collin College, Texas, she earned an Associate of Science degree in Physics, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Political Science from the University of Texas in Permian Basin. Driven by her interest in Christian education, she received a Bachelor of Theology and Administration, Master of Theology and Christian Counseling, and a Doctor of Religious Education and Theology, and Honorary Doctor’s of Divinity, Humanity, and Literature at Pneuma Theological Seminary. She is looking forward to graduating May of 2025 with her Doctor of Psychology & Christian Counseling. Beyond academia, Dr. McMahon actively serves on various non-profit boards, including COACH Homeschool, Pneuma Theological Seminary, embodying her commitment to making a positive impact. As a dedicated homeschooling parent of eight children, Dr. McMahon embraces the transformative power of learning, emphasizing compassion and service. Her teaching inspires students to achieve their potential and fosters a love for lifelong learning.
Dr. William Travis Jr. presently holds the position of Pastor at First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland, California, a role he has faithfully served in for the past nine years. Prior to this, he spent over 18 years as an assistant Pastor and youth Pastor on the minister board at Deliverance Temple. His academic accomplishments include earning a Doctorate in Christian Counseling and a Doctorate of Theology. Additionally, Dr. Travis has been dedicated to his role as Alumni President since 2010.
Dr. A. Yvonne Farr, a California native, currently serves as a member of the Associate staff at Pathway To Healing Church. She previously held the position of church administrator for the late Pastor Marjorie Taylor at West Contra Costa Christian Center in Richmond, CA. With over 35 years of experience in Substance Abuse and Mental Health, Dr. Farr has been dedicatedly working for Contra Costa County Mental Health Vocational Services for the past 18 years. Her academic achievements include a Doctorate degree in Theology and Christian Counseling/Psychology, along with a recent completion of a Doctorate in Addictive Disorders. Dr. Farr holds an impressive array of licenses in the field of Addiction, including an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, State Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, State Certified Clinical Supervisor Credential, State Certified Master Counselor in Addictions, State Certified Forensic Counselor, State Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist, and State Certified Medication-Assisted Treatment Counselor. Alongside her professional endeavors, Dr. Farr actively fulfills her social and civic duties, serving on the city of Richmond Housing Authority Board for the past decade, where she held significant leadership roles and was appointed to the National Board of Housing and Redevelopment in Washington D.C. Additionally, she currently holds the position of Coordinator of Supported Education Services at Contra Costa College and is a part-time professor at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, teaching Cultural Diversity and Special Populations. Dr. Farr’s extensive educational journey includes degrees from the University of San Francisco, New College of California, and Sacramento Theological Seminary, where she graduated with honors. Her exceptional achievements and dedication to her community and field have earned her the role of Dean of Administration at Sacramento Theological Seminary in 2002.
Dr. Niinana Kweku, the Director of Pneuma Theological Seminary, has a rich educational background and an extensive list of certifications. In 1981, Dr. Kweku completed the Social Studies program at Merriott College Oakland. Subsequently, he earned a Master of Arts Degree in Social Work from Concordia College and University in 2003. Continuing his academic journey, he obtained a Doctor of Christian Counseling Psychology from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College in 2006. Dr. Kweku is a Certified Substance Abuse Specialist in the State of California and a Certified Anger Management Facilitator and Domestic Violence Counselor. His commitment to working with returning veterans led him to attain a certificate from John F. Kennedy University in 2009. Dr. Kweku further expanded his expertise with certifications in Pastoral Counseling and Theology Awareness, achieving global recognition in 2010. Notably, he serves as a Diplomat Christian Teacher at Sacramento Theological Seminary since 2010, and his dedication to ministry earned him a Certificate of Ordination from the same seminary in 2009. Beyond his academic pursuits, Dr. Kweku is an accomplished author, with two books to his credit: “Ordinary Dads in Search of Manhood” and “Brainfreeze.” Over the span of 40 years, Dr. Niinana Kweku has made significant contributions to Bayarea communities, providing invaluable teaching, counseling, and mentoring services.
Dr. Antjuan Lenor Webb Sr., D.R.E., hailing from Berkeley, California, has been an essential part of The House of Restoration for over a decade, serving as an usher for two years and later becoming an Associate Minister for eight years under Pastor Tony E. Grayson’s leadership. Alongside his ministry, Dr. Webb diligently pursued his educational journey, earning an Associate of Biblical Studies, a Bachelor of Theology, and a Masters of Theology/Christian Counseling from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College. Notably, he accomplished a rare feat, obtaining both a Doctorate of Theology and a Doctorate of Divinity, and was honored as the Valedictorian of the Class of 2011, further solidifying his lifetime membership certificate from Sacramento Theological Seminary. As a Field Representative and award recipient, his dedication shone through. Driven by his compassion for others, he also earned a Doctorate of Biblical Studies and Christian Counseling, and he is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Religious Education at Pneuma Theological Seminary. As the Pneuma Theological Seminary Northern Regional Field Representative, Dr. Webb continues to impact the academic and ministerial community while cherishing a meaningful life with his wife, Dr. Veronica Webb, and their seven children in Oakland, California.
